We had a FANTASTIC field trip to Zoo Atlanta this month! Thank you to Zoo Atlanta for providing us with a grant to cover the cost of admission! It was an unforgettable experience!                                             Today is Dr. Seuss's Birthday! We will celebrate with some fun Dr. Seuss activities! Today also kicks off Read Across America! Don't forget to fill out your reading log EVERY DAY!!

We had a fantastic time celebrating Valentine's day on Tuesday! We practiced descriptive writing with decorated hearts. First, we decorated the hearts. Next, we thought of descriptive words and adjectives to tell about our hearts. Last, we used the words to write descriptive paragraphs about our hearts! Teachers: Get this lesson at Fun in First. We also had a great time exchanging Valentines! We marked a tally chart to see how many different kinds of Valentines we had. It was fun to track Valentine data! Hi Parents!!!
